Inda dispara a todo, y de diez que suelta con suerte acierta una. OkDiario es uno de los que tengo censurados precisamente por esto. Es un agitador, un poco más sibilino que Alvise Pérez. Pero igualmente le va la marcha y busca sin más la bronca.

Ya dirá la policía qué ha pasado, si es que se acaba sabiendo.

Exclusive: Russian fuel export ban to be lifted next week

MOSCOW, Nov 9 (Reuters) - Russian fuel producers have been told by the government to prepare for the scrapping of all remaining restrictions on the export of diesel and gasoline, three industry sources told Reuters on Thursday.

Russia, the world's top seaborne exporter of diesel, introduced a ban on fuel exports on Sept. 21 to tackle high domestic prices and shortages.

The government eased restrictions on Oct. 6, allowing the export of diesel by pipeline, but kept measures on gasoline exports in place. Overseas supplies of gasoline by trucks and railways are also prohibited.

Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov on Wednesday said that Russia was considering lifting the export ban on some grades of gasoline.

"They told the producers that exports will be opened up from next week," said a Russian oil company source who spoke on condition of anonymity owing to the sensitivity of such decisions.

Another industry source said the ban would be lifted next week.

"They promised to lift the exports ban next week. In regards to this promise, we have formed an export schedule and a plan for refining," said the source, who also spoke on condition of anonymity.(...)

Deal over dim sum: China caves to EU on data to keep investors sweet

As China’s economy stutters, Beijing gave a rare diplomatic win to the EU to ensure businesses don’t quit.

(...) Then, in a sudden surprise initiative, Zhang said he was ready to offer a goodie to European businesses facing an increasingly hostile political environment in President Xi Jinping's China. He explained Beijing was willing to move on data flows — a sphere where China has been trying to curb the ability of foreign companies to export data generated within the country. All that data is a goldmine for European business, but China guards it zealously.

A deal on data flows was a big call from Zhang, but can be explained by China's growing fears about its precarious economy. While security is front-and-center to Chinese policymakers, they also know they have to offer some big carrots to keep foreign investors onside.

“You could feel that something clicked on the spot,” said an EU official with knowledge of the discussion, recalling the heated debates on data over Chinese delicacies like beef in lotus leaves and dim sum.

Although the dinner happened in September, three officials with knowledge of China's switching tack have only now explained how the change of heart in Beijing came about.

“The vice-premier told her he understood the proposal makes sense, and asked the relevant authorities to take the matter forward," the first official said. Zhang immediately turned to his junior colleagues from the Cyberspace Administration of China and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. "You had a feeling that that was the moment the big guy gave the go-ahead."

According to another official, when Trade Commissioner Valdis Dombrovskis visited Beijing shortly after Jourová, he received the final confirmation of the changes to the data laws from his counterpart, Vice Premier He Lifeng, an influential economic aide to President Xi Jinping.

Shortly afterward, China agreed to reverse the burden of proof under the relevant laws, allowing most data stored in China to be transferred out of the country unless expressly excluded by the authorities. EU officials, though, cautioned that they'll still wait to see how Chinese authorities at all levels implement the new provision. (...)

"Make no mistake, China is merely fixing a problem of its own making," the second official noted. "It's not an act of benevolence. It's an act of self-correction."

Still, that self-correction is far from a given under a nationalistic government facing stiff competition from the U.S.

Increasingly, China's uncompromising ideological focus is forcing many companies to adjust their business strategies, including by taking their new investments out of China. Indeed, the EU and the rest of the G7 rich democracies are calling on their companies to "de-risk," as Russia's war against Ukraine prompts concerns about a possible Chinese invasion of Taiwan.

According to a report issued Wednesday by Penta, a business research group, one in five EU policymakers considers China to be the most pressing issue facing the bloc — while only 16 percent of people say they're open to working with companies from China, bottom of the list.

It's against this backdrop that Beijing wants — and needs — to throw some bones to the EU.

“For sure there’s a lot of self-interest for China [to give EU the data deal], where there’s a sharp drop of foreign direct investment which China desperately needs,” the first official said.

Over the past three months, Beijing has welcomed a long line of EU officials in a thaw from the 2021 low point where China's sanctions on EU politicians and intellectuals were followed by an indefinite freeze of a massive EU-China trade deal, which remains unratified.(...)

Germany is on the cusp of announcing a deal to buy its largest power grid from state-owned Dutch operator Tennet Holding BV for just over €22 billion ($23.6 billion), according to people familiar with the matter.

The government is in advanced talks on terms of the potential purchase and may announce an agreement as early as Friday, the people said, asking not to be identified because the information is private.

Germany is trying to clinch the long-awaited deal just weeks before Dutch general elections scheduled for Nov. 22. The transaction has faced multiple delays with both governments haggling over price. It’s also been complicated by diverging views in Berlin’s ruling coalition over how to structure grid ownership once the deal goes through, Bloomberg News reported last month.

Negotiations are still ongoing and could drag on for longer, the people said. Representatives for the Dutch finance ministry and German economy ministry declined to comment. A Tennet representative said “we are still in discussions.”



The planned acquisition is part of German efforts to consolidate the country’s power grids and bolster energy security. It’s been grappling with a challenging transition to renewables as well as uncertainty triggered by the loss of Russian pipeline gas.

Germany’s goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2045 requires a massive overhaul of the nation’s grid to link the offshore wind produced in the north with its industrial heartland in the south.

¿Cuántas veces nos ha dicho Asustadísimos que se descapitaliza a las empresas haciéndoles préstamos a tipos abusivos o alquilándoles o vendiéndoles inmuebles propios a precios disparadados?

La quiebra de wework, el fundador está forrado, vendió las acciones nada más sacarlas a bolsa, compró inmuebles y era el que descapitalizaba la empresa cobrándoles el alquiler.

Jay Powell warns against risk of being ‘misled’ in inflation fight

Federal Reserve chair Jay Powell has warned against being “misled” by good data on prices, saying the mission to return inflation to the US central bank’s 2 per cent target has a “long way to go”.

Speaking at an IMF event on Tuesday, the Fed chair said officials were “gratified” by the retreat in price pressures but stopped short of sounding the all-clear on an inflation problem that has proven more persistent than policymakers expected.

“We know that ongoing progress toward our 2 per cent goal is not assured: Inflation has given us a few head fakes,” he said in prepared remarks. “If it becomes appropriate to tighten policy further, we will not hesitate to do so.”
